Bonn or officially the Federal City of Bonn, located on the banks of River Rhine in Germany. Bonn is second officially residence of President of Germany, Chancellor of Germany, the Bundesrat and official seat of six German federal ministers. Bonn is founded in first century BC as Roman settlement, which makes it the oldest city of Germany. Bonn is headquartered of Deutsche Telekom and Deutsche Post DHL. Also Bonn is home to United Nations institutions. Most important is the University of Bonn which is one of the reputable institutions of higher learning in Germany. Also one interesting fact is that Bonn is birthplace of Ludwig van Beethoven, which is one of the main sights in Bonn. Other main sights are Old Town Hall built in Rococo style which was used as receptions of guests. Near is Kurfurstliches Schloos which is main building of the University of Bonn. Then there is a Poppelsdorfer Allee an alley of flanked chestnut trees. This alley connects Poppelsdorfer Schloss with Kurfurstliches Schloos. A Poppelsdorfer Schloss is palace built for resort for prince electors. It gardens now are botanical gardens named Botanischer Garten Bonn. The Beethowen Monument is located on Munsterplatz. Most important churches are Bonn Minister or Minister of St. Martins, Old Cemetery Bonn, Doppelkirche Schwarzrheindorf. Main ruin is Godesburg fortress ruin. Few of the modern important buildings are Bundesviertel which is federal quarter, Beethovenhalle, T-mobile Telekom and Kameha Grand five star hotel. Museums are Museum Mile with Guggenheim Collection, Bonn Museum of Modern Art, Museum Koeing, Bonn Women’s Museum, Beethowen House, and August Macke Haus Museum. As regards nature sight there are Arboretum Park Harle, Botanical Garden where the plant Titan arum set world record, a Kottenforst and Rheinaue a park on banks of Rhine. This is a beautiful city which is worth to visit, despite a beautiful culture and architecture it is a peaceful town full of gardens in which you can enjoy.
