LULWORTH CASTLE


Lulworth Castle a mock castle built in early 17th century now is museum. First the castle was built to Thomas Howard the 3rd Viscount Howard of Bindom as his hunting lodge. Near by is roman Catholic chapel. In French Revolution the castle was use to residence in exile. Then the fire ruind the castle and it become the ruin until when the family Weld rebuilt the residence. Now it is a tourist attraction with medieval events. Now the ground is host to festival Camp Bestival.
